O'Neal Steel Material Handler FULL-TIME $15.50/hr, plus $1000 new hire bonus 2600 Sergeant Rd, Waterloo, IA 50704 -Fork lift operation - Cleaning parts - Operate a Kasto machine - Load outgoing trucks - Operate a side loader - Operate a stacker crane - Pull stock - General material handling or warehouse work - Yard Dog operation - Any other activity that might be required of the employee at any given time -The worker is subject to both environmental conditions: Activities occur inside and outside. - The worker is subject to hazards: Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals. Schedule - Shift start: 1:00PM or 10:00PM - Shift length: 8 hours - Days: 2nd Shift: 1pm – 9pm; 3rd shift: 10pm-6am Benefits - Health, dental, vision insurance available after 30 days - Paid time off - 401k Requirements - -Ability to use a variety of hand tools such as: hammer, pliers, screwdriver, wrench, drill, grinder, bander. - - Responsible for providing error-free work to all internal and external customers as related to the output of their position. - - Ability to accurately read a tape measure. - - The ability to operate any piece of metal working equipment. - - Ability to read and interpret simple blueprints. - - Ability to operate fork lift and overhead crane utilizing pendant, radio or cab controls. - - The ability to use measuring tools such as box calipers, slide dial calipers and micrometers. - - Must be able to distinguish color, regardless of position of colors - -Ability to work at a height of up to 30 feet on a Stacker Crane. - Must be at least 18+ years old - Must pass drug screen (cannabis excluded) - Must pass background check - Can lift 35 lbs Bonus $1000 new hire incentive $1000 SIGN ON BONUS Receive $500 payout on your first pay date and $500 payout on your six month pay date About O'Neal Steel O'Neal Steel, an O’Neal Industries affiliate, was founded in 1921 and is headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama.
