Maintenance/Carpenter/Painter/Remodeler (Lawrence)

Local Property Management Company is seeking a FULL-TIME Maintenance Technician/Painter/Grounds Keeper for our rental properties located in Lawrence, KS. We need to fill these positions with an exceptional and experienced individuals.
Grounds keeping duties include:
- General landscape and grounds maintenance
- Trash cleanup and removal
- Snow removal on sidewalks
- Small tree removal and bush trimming
- Gutter cleaning
Maintenance duties include:
- Plumbing
- Carpentry
- Painting
- Sheet rock repair
- Minor electrical repairs
- Appliance delivery
- Cleanup and make readies
- Apartment & Hallway Cleaning
We are looking for an individual with a strong work ethic, a can-do attitude and a strong focus on customer service. This position will include time on-call after-hours for emergencies.
Final candidates must pass a background check including rental history, credit history, criminal records and a drug screening.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Courteous
- Friendly and Polite
- Pride in your work
- Honest and Trustworthy
- Organized, efficient and completes work quickly
- Must be able to respond to after-hours emergencies
- Ability to work independently
- Must have reliable transportation
- Maintenance experience is a must
- HVAC certification preferred but not required
Candidate must be a Lawrence resident as no relocation will be provided. Emergency response time must be 15 minutes or less.
