Senior Cat needs Re-home ASAP

My elderly mother with Alzheimers needs to rehome her senior indoor cat (8-10 years?) My mother can't remember much so I don't know when the cat's last shots/vet visit was but she is very healthy and does not have fleas. The reason to let her go is that she still occasionally bites and/or scratches my mother (including recently) making this a healthy and safety risk. She can no longer care for the cat either. Now that my mother has 24 hour care/company at home she is asking to have the cat removed from the house. Someone with experience in crating an uncooperative cat is needed to remove her. (I tried but she scratched and bit me and ran out of the room.) We are willing to also give most of her toys, beds, etc. to the adopter. If I can't find someone to take her soon I will be forced to call the county and I am sure they will put her down. She deserves to live, someone please help!
