Virtual Jury Focus Group (location is virtual due to covid-19) We need your assistance with a focus group concerning actual court cases going to trial. There will be a discussion followed by a deliberation of the evidence with the other participants. When: Tuesday, December 14, 2021 Time: 1:00pm-4:00pm Where: Due to COVID-19 the Focus Group will be virtual. You must have a computer that is preferably hardwired to the internet (no cell phones, iPads, tablets, etc.). You must have a Zoom account- it’s free to sign up. Payment: $75 Requirements (if you do not meet all of these requirements you will not be eligible): *You must be a US citizen. *You must be at least 18 years old. *You must be a resident of Union County, NC. *You must be eligible to vote just as someone who is called for regular jury duty. *You must have a valid North Carolina driver's license or State Issued ID. *You cannot be currently called for Jury Duty within the next 45 days. *NO CELL PHONES or TABLETS. You must have a computer that is preferably hardwired to the internet. *You must have a Zoom account. There are limited positions. ** If you would like to attend, please click on the link below to answer our questionnaire. We will select a diverse group based on the answers we receive. You will be notified by email on Friday, December 10, 2021 using the email address you provide in the questionnaire so please be sure to check your email.
