JOB DESCRIPTION: • Provide general and specialized custodial and minor repair work in and around the Home Slice buildings and other facilities. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Detailed cleaning of the building, including power washing, vacuuming, and collecting and removing trash throughout the Campus.  • Keep cleaning supplies closets organized, stocked, and clean. • Maintain organized stock of lightbulbs • Outside tasks may include detailed cleanliness and maintenance of outside areas (tables, chairs, patios, stations, umbrellas, tents, fencing, sidewalks, parking lot etc.)   • Performs set-up and take-down of tables, chairs, and other equipment for special events held onsite. Interact with guests and staff in a professional, courteous manner. • As required, may perform duties in another store location to collaborate on tasks and projects with a peer. Follow correct unlocking, locking, and alarm procedures in applicable areas. • Specialized duties may include light HVAC maintenance (changing filters, etc.), plumbing maintenance (repairing clogged commodes, sinks, urinals, etc.), electrical maintenance (replacing light bulbs/fixtures), painting and minor carpentry repairs. • Other related functions as assigned. Duties may include working odd/evening hours on occasion.  REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Must have prior experience cleaning and maintaining facilities • Must be trustworthy • Must have dependable transportation • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to use handheld power tools and cleaning equipment • Ability to withstand outdoor conditions • Must have an eye for detail PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry repairs COMPENSATION: $16+ per hour depending on qualifications. Eligible for medical insurance after 60 days. Free shift meals and other perks and discounts. SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week. Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 3:30 pm WORKING CONDITIONS: • Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather. Will be exposed to cleaning chemicals and supplies, dust, fumes, and loud noises. • Physical stamina and ability to lift, push and pull fifty pounds is required. • Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisors. • Works independently and unsupervised on a regular basis. WORK LOCATION: 501 East 53rd Street. Work references are required.
