Mid-Day Dog Walkers & Vacation Pet Care Providers Needed Wag the Dog Pet Care is an established, well-loved pet sitting company and we are seeking exceptional pet care providers to add to our team. Areas of service needed in Cary (27513/27519) & Raleigh - Millbrook/North Raleigh (27609/27615) Please note: We will be accepting applications until we find the right sitter for all available positions, so if you are viewing this posting weeks after it has been published, still feel free to contact us! Information regarding visits: Visits are typically 3 times per day for a period of 3-10 days -- most weekends. You will provide feeding, walking, plant watering, mail pickup and an added measure of pet safety and home security while clients are away. Daily dog walks are typically recurring and scheduled on the same day of each week. *Standard visits for dogs are 30 minutes between 7-9:00 am and 6-8:30 pm. *Mid-day visits are often required as well for 20 minutes between 11:00am and 3:00pm. *Visit times for cats are more flexible and are usually once daily for a 20-minute visit. Requirements for the pet care position: * You have a car * You have internet access, printing capabilities, phone picture/text options * You can commit to working with us at least 1 year * You love both dogs and cats. * You are available for the visit schedule outlined above * You can work most of the major summer and winter holidays: Easter, Memorial Day Weekend, Independence Day Week (July 4th), Labor Day Weekend, Thanksgiving Weekend, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day * You can pass a criminal / background check Hours/Pay rate: Weekly hours will vary and depend on the needs of our growing client base.
