We have a German Shepard puppy that we are looking to rehome. His name is Jay and he's 5 months old. He is a very smart pup and has A LOT of potential. He has undergone puppy training so knows basic commands (I will list below!). He is also potty trained (hasn't had an accident in over 6-8 weeks) and crate trained with using mainly treats. He is overall very outgoing, attentive, and energized. We honestly don't have enough time and space for him as we would like and would love for him to find a home where he gets more attention and plenty of space to run around. He is UTD on his shots but he does need his second round of distemper. He is intact. He will come with his toys, leashes (can also put in his 50 ft leash that was meant for training but never really used), food bowl, and his remaining dog food. Basic commands Jay does well with working with treats (low and high value treats) and using the "Yes" training style. - Sit - Down - Wait (at the door) - Release (at the door or releasing him from a position/command) - Retrieves or picks up toys/sticks outside with "Where's your toy?" or "Get your toy". - UH- uh for correcting unwanting behaviors - Potty trained using "Do you gotta go outside/potty?". He usually goes to the door and/or gets restless if he has to go. - Saying "Let's go" with walking outside. Have done a bit of off-leash walking with him when able in a field (no distractions/people around) and he always does just fine trailing following alongside/behind or in front of you. - "OFF" to get him off furniture or if he's jumping.
