Shop Driver and Assistant Duties and Responsibilities • Report to Operations Manager and Warehouse Clerk • Move and organize inventory and materials • Process material for delivery or pick up • Sort, organize, and store inventory in the proper location • Package items and label correctly for pick up or delivery • Inspect delivered items and ensure quality/quantities • Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors • Stack and organize large bulk items • Load and unload material from trucks for shipping and delivery to proper location • Update logs and documentation for inventory processing • Move materials from facilities to workstations, pick-up locations, or other locations • Operate electric lifts to move or store to and from shop and job site • Deliver material and electric lifts to job sites using flatbed truck • Clean any equipment returned from the field • Keep workspace and equipment is clean and organized Shop Driver and Assistant Requirements and Qualifications • Valid driver’s license • Must has experience with pulling and backing up a tag trailer • Able to pass drug test/background check • Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, bend, and climb during the work shift • Physically able to lift weight up to 50 pounds or more • Able to work early hours, weekends, and/or holidays as needed • Mechanical and construction experience is a plus • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Follow directions and procedures give by manager or supervisor • Able to work in a fast-paced environment • Pays attention to detail • Highly organized and able to store items efficiently • Must follow all health and safety procedure and regulations as dictated by the organization and the state
