Description

This is a human trafficking prevention course available both locally in-person and virtually via Zoom. While this course is intended for medical, counseling, social work, and other professionals tasked with recognizing the signs of human trafficking, all who wish to attend and learn are welcome. The concepts covered are universal and there is nothing that a lay person would have difficulty understanding. After completing this class, students will: Understand the types and venues of human trafficking in the United States. Identify victims of human trafficking in their work environment. Identify the warning signs of human trafficking in their respective work settings for adults and minors.Identify resources for reporting the suspected victims of human trafficking.
