Each of our tours are tailored to the group's ability level, fitness, and desires. Catch the stunning city and ocean views from the comfort of your bike! About the Virginia Key North Point Mountain Bike Trails Virginia Key North Point Trails offers over 9 miles of mountain bike trails ranging from novice to advanced and expert. There is a variety of cool features and bridges to ride on, overlooking the beach and Downtown Miami. The Virginia Key Mountain Bike Trail is a great example of a partnership between the Parks and Recreation Department and residents who have a passion for a sport and the willingness to develop a plan, motivate volunteers and make a vision come true. 8 years ago Bernard "Frenchy" Riviere, walked into the jungle that V.K was at the time and with an orange spray can started marking the trails. The rest is history. The Virginia Key Mountain Bike Club was soon founded and with the help of volunteers, Frenchy has continue to design and build trails just minutes from the magic city. Please arrive at least 30-minutes prior to your event start time. Late arrivals are non-refundable. PARKING: Parking is FREE for event participants in the VKOC lot. ARRIVE at least 30-minutes prior to event start time. FACILITIES: VKOC has private bathrooms (that are stocked), outdoor showers, and a snack and souvenir shop on-premises. You are welcome to hang out after the paddle and share our grill, have a drink, etc. Good music is always welcome. Groups & Private Parties: VKOC offers private and group events.
