Bramble is hosting our first ever GINGERBREAD COMPETITION!!! You're invited to participate in turning our little bake shop into a winter wonderland on December 18th and 19th! We love the kitsch delight that gingerbread buildings and structures bring to the holidays, and what better way to celebrate that than with some friendly competition? How it works: - Assemble a team or register yourself by claiming a ticket. You only need ONE ticket per team, and the $15 registration fee will be donated to mutual aid efforts this holiday season. - Drop off ANY creative gingerbread structure or art (the only rule is that it cannot be from a store bought kit) at Bramble Baking Co. on Friday evening, 12/17, before 7pm. You can have some set up time at the shop if needed too! - Out shop visitors will vote for their favorite creations on Saturday and Sunday during our open hours (8a-3p). They will be voting for three categories: Favorite Overall, Most Original, and "Class Clown". The Bramble team will be voting for "Bakers' Choice" too. - After the votes are tallied, win Bramble treats, merch, and gifts from local makers and Hamilton/Lauraville neighbors! We're assembling some lovely prize packages including gifts from local ceramicists, Sophomore Coffee, Diaspora Co., Wight Tea Co. and more!
