Sound Symbolism Workshop: Draw what you hear, a synesthetic experience
Sound Symbolism Workshop Draw what you hear, a synesthetic experienceSaturday, January 22, 2022 | 10 am to 3 pm | $60
Synesthesia is a high-level connection and stimulation of one sense with another. My intention is to use the arts as a reflective guide to enrich the senses. Creative expression can reveal internal dialogue and strengthen our wellbeing. Thoughtful discussion and calligraphic drawings will assist with refining your innate gift.
When you hear musical instruments, do you see shapes or colors? Does your hearing activate your sense of touch? How does the language of listening affect creative expression?
If you decide to experiment with water, drawing and music:
Please bring 2-3 varied watercolor or calligraphic brushes and 2 small containers to hold waterInstructor will supply 1 water drawing magic cloth per participant
