Acclaimed New England Singer/Songwriter Heather Pierson Returns to Cbus for In-Person Concert Acclaimed New England Singer/Songwriter Heather Pierson Returns to Cbus for In-Person ConcertFor years, New Hampshire’s Heather Pierson’s original songs and albums have been near the top at the nation’s folk music radio stations and performing venues. And Saturday January 29, she’ll bring her compelling music to Columbus for a live in-person concert, sponsored by the Columbus Folk Music Society. What her website says is true: “From New Orleans traditional jazz to blues to rousing Americana and poignant folk, Heather’s songs and musicianship embody joy, honesty, and a desire to share from the heart.” Her voice is sweet, and she’s also excellent on several instruments: piano, guitar, tenor banjo, ukulele, and melodica. Heather will be backed up in this exciting performance by her partner and bass player, Shawn Nadeau.
