And Saturday January 29, she’ll bring her compelling music to Columbus for a live in-person concert, sponsored by the Columbus Folk Music Society. What her website says is true: “From New Orleans traditional jazz to blues to rousing Americana and poignant folk, Heather’s songs and musicianship embody joy, honesty, and a desire to share from the heart.” Her voice is sweet, and she’s also excellent on several instruments: piano, guitar, tenor banjo, ukulele, and melodica. Heather will be backed up in this exciting performance by her partner and bass player, Shawn Nadeau.
