Description

Guided meditation, somatic experiences, breathwork, and reflection to embrace being an open-hearted, embodied and conscious man. Have you been yearning for a deeper, more intimate connection with men? Are you curious about what it means to identify as ‘male’ in Western society? Being huMAN is a 6-week workshop that utilizes guided meditation, somatic experiences, breathwork, group integration and reflection to explore what it means to be a man. We will create awareness around the familial and cultural constructs that have been built to keep men protected from their vulnerability and emotional expression, creating space for participants to step into an authentic experience of an open-hearted, embodied and conscious man. IF YOU IDENTIFY AS A MAN AND ARE CALLED TO CONNECT WITH OTHER MEN AND YOURSELF IN A DEEPER, MORE ENGAGED WAY...PLEASE JOIN US ON TUESDAYS FROM 11AM - 1230PM! Please share with your TC/CU students, colleagues, and alumni! For more information or if you have any questions, please email Marc Feller ([email protected]) ***PLEASE NOTE: Workshops are open to Teachers College, Columbia University, and Barnard College students, faculty and staff ONLY. You must have a valid university ID to enter.*** (You only need to register for the first day to be registered for the series.)
