Dmitry immigrated from Russia in 1978. He will talk about and read from his two recent books Samarov's Old Style and All Hack. Dmitry was born in Moscow in 1970 and got in trouble in 1st grade for doodling on his Lenin Red Star pin. He immigrated to the US in 1978 and graduated with a BFA in painting and printmaking. He began driving a cab—first in Boston, then after a time, in Chicago. Dmitry will talk about and read from his two recent books Samarov's Old Style and All Hack. He will be interrogated by Ben Terrall, producer of the cult 'zine Namaste Motherfu**er. A groovy little independent book store with books on many subjects but a leaning toward the built and natural environments and our relationship to them.
