Koontz Bryant Johnson Williams is seeking a Survey Civil CAD Technician to join the dynamic growing team in our Chesapeake, Virginia office. $750 SIGNING BONUS to be paid when hired with commitment of one (1) year of employment. As a Survey Technician, you will produce computations and drawings for boundary, topographic, and ALTA surveys, house locations, and construction stakeout. Though primarily an office position, some field work may be required. As a Survey Technician, you will: • Create mapping from field crew data to meet the client/job specific requirements • Preparation and set-up of survey data for field crews • Post survey field data processing • Deed and reference map plotting • Calculations for construction layout, as-built surveys and/or sketches • Grade sheet preparation • ALTA/NSPS land title survey drafting • Preparation of Metes & Bounds descriptions • Drafting of FEMA Elevation certificate • Drafting of Subdivision Plans and Lot Consolidation Plans • Ability to create mapping from field crew data collector files (points), field sketches, digital photos, and reference maps Position Requirements: • 3+ years of experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D • Strong math skills • Proven record of producing clean and accurate plan presentations • Field experience a plus • Great attitude and a desire to grow professionally Interested candidates please apply at.
