Strong woman to help a 175 lb young woman with physical disabilities. She requires significant assistance with all transfers. Looking for a friendly person who can assist in using her walker, driving her to the local YMCA pool so she can swim (independently) as well as driving to and from other activities. Assisting her with showering, dressing, and other activities of daily living. We have excellent home lift equipment that makes toileting and showering fairly easy. Requires a valid Connecticut drivers license and willing to drive to and from local YMCA, local school activities and other activities within approximately a 10 mile or less radius of our home. This does not require specialized education. This is a part time position - flexible, about three or four hours a day up to 6 days a week.
