Join us at the Kalon showroom to learn the beautiful Korean wrapping technique of Bojagi and cut down on waste this holiday season. Kalon Presents: Holiday Bojagi Workshop The Korean textile technique of Bojagi has played an important role in Korean culture for centuries. Utilizing square pieces of cloth skillfully constructed from a variety of fabrics, these beautifully functional items were a means of self-expression as well as an integral part of everyday life. Today, Bojagi is a thoughtful way to lessen our environmental impact during a season of gifting. Join us for a very special Bojagi workshop led by LA-based Ellen of Nossi Bojagi. All attendees will pick from a special edit of environmentally-conscious fabrics and learn 5 different wrapping and knot applications, with the option to bring personal items or gifts to wrap. Take all of your wrapped items home in an oversized Bojagi tote. A special selection of Korean teas by Kioh Park will be offered to all guests, as well as light snacks. For the safety of all, this workshop will host just ten attendees and will take place outdoors on our rooftop patio. Guests are asked to wear masks while indoors.
