Healthy Living Matters (HLM) is a public-private partnership (the “Collaborative”) of over 80 organizations and 110 individuals dedicated to curbing childhood obesity through policy change. HLM has also established an extensive extended network of partners through which system-wide/county-wide impact can be achieved.
Our Collaborative members and partners often serve as “gate-keepers” to maximize the visibility of the issue of childhood obesity, of HLM’s policy solutions, and of HLM’s work overall to both policy makers and the general public. It is in this way that HLM has been able to mobilize the broader community for action.
