Description
Students will Pitch their business idea live to a panel of judges for a chance to win the $1000 first place price. The first Annual Level Two Hendricks County Student Pitch Competition will conclude on December 11th at Level Two Inc with a group of selected students pitching their business ideas in front of a panel of live judges. This competition was open to High School students who reside in or attend High School in Hendricks County. We had over 20 registrants from 4 different school systems. To get here, the teams competing in the Finals have already put together a short video pitch and slide show presentation. During the live final, the student teams will each have a 5-10 minute presentation where they will discuss different aspects of their business or business idea, which can include up to 20 slides. This information should include: Mission StatementWhat the Business will Provide Target MarketMarket and Competitive AnalysisFunding SourcesFinancial FeasibilityThey will also be judged on their professionalism, business etiquette, and how organized their presentation is. The winning team will receive a $1000 award for them to use as Seed Money for their startup or for college expenses. Join us to watch these live pitches and see the young entrepreneurs that reside in our community. Also, as an attendee you will be able to vote on the winner of the Crowd Favorite award, which will provide a $500 prize. Level Two, a nonprofit coworking space and Entrepreneurship Center in Plainfield here to serve the Hendricks County community. We are located at The Shops at Perry Crossing with parking and entrances behind Stone Creek. Level Two provides amenities for entrepreneurs, small business owners, commuters, & those looking to establish business and community connections in Hendricks County.Our Mission is to Foster Entrepreneurship and Cultivate Growth in Small Business by providing space, networking and educational opportunities.
