Description

Hoops and Dreams 2 is a women empowerment event for female hoopers 13 to 18 years old. T3 Sports is a New York City based 501 (c) 3 dedicated to helping girls and young women overcome the many obstacles of life. T3 Sports aims to level the playing field that girls and young women have learned to accept from the many messages they receive in the mainstream, pop-culture and sports. Young women will be engaged in realizing their aspirations of playing professional sports, in particular basketball, and/or utilizing T3 sports to gain a community of strong and powerful allies in a recreational setting. With the utmost intentions of raising self-awareness, self-esteem, and self-advocacy. T3 Sports is confident and committed to helping young women realize their full potential to be empowered on and off the court. This event will serve as an empowerment event that will give each of it's attendees the tools necessary to succeed as a student-athlete.
