Well, it's like this. Truly talented musicians express their emotion through their instruments in two dimensions. The first is the place in which they practice several hours a day dealing with their frustrations to acheive greater skill. The second is the stage, where they "Share" the love that was worth all the scrifice spent to bring something bigger than themselves to everyone listening in order that they might have something special to experience.
It was said long ago; "Music is the artform that is created on the canvass of silence".
The musicians I know play more by playing less, and say more by saying less.
What do you really want? Ask calmly, make your request clearly, and get your "SELF" out of the way.
