Silicon Valley Computer programing winter camp Welcome to Computer Camp! We have plenty of classes for kids of all ages and skill levels. Our curriculum is driven by what the campers want to learn. This is camp, not school, so we focus on fun! BEGINNERS Our first week starts with the basics. No computer experience necessary! We'll learn Scratch, a graphical programming language that makes it easy to understand the fundamentals. Campers will create animations and games to practice their new skills. When we're ready for a challenge, we can explore Python, one of the most popular programming languages in the world. We'll also learn about how computers and the internet work. ADVANCED After you learn the basics, come back for a second week and we'll dive into the really exciting classes. What do you want to learn today? 3D Printing Android: Java Electric Circuits: Python, C iPhone/iPad: Swift Minecraft: Scratch, Python, JavaScript Python Roblox: C++, Lua Robotics: Lego Mindstorms, Scratch, Python Unity: C# Video Streaming and Editing Web Sites: HTML, CSS, JavaScript WHAT TO BRING Nothing! Our computers are loaded with all the software you'll need (and maybe a game or two!), so please leave your laptop at home. We also provide lunch and snacks. DAILY SCHEDULE 8:45-9:00 Campers Arrive 9:00 Class 10:15 Break 10:45 Class 12:00 Lunch 1:00 Class 2:15 Break 2:45 Class 4:00 Campers Go Home Tuition fee : $ 1250/ 5 days ABOUT US Camp Director: Fangfang Pan. Academic Director: Todd McLaughlin. His parents bought him a computer when he was eight years old and he's been addicted ever since. He earned a computer science degree from Cal Poly and has worked as software developer for 20 years. His recent clients include Snowflake, Twilio, and the California government. Todd has taught programming to elementary and high school students for three summers. He's excited to work with your kids. The Global Outstanding Chinese Artists Association is a Non-profit Arts Associationrecognized by the U.S. Federal Government ( Approval Number : 47-45494244 ). As a 2 comprehensive artistic organization, GOCAA members are active in many forms ofarts including musical arts, visual arts, dance and other art forms.GOCAA aims to promote cooperation among Chinese artists and nurture artisticachievements domestically and abroad. In order to create an international platform for artistic expression, GOCAA not only invites many outstanding artists from internationally renowned music schools and art schools, but has also invited many experts from the arts industry. GOCAA frequently hosts academic activities around the globe to encourage artistic communication among Chinese artists.
