Ages: 8-13 3 day camp 9-12pm $150/individual Class runs: December 20th-22nd,  Monday-Wednesday, from 9 am- 12pm AGES: 8-13Pricing: $150/ individual  $50 deposit is paid on eventbrite and remaining balance is paid on first day of session. Class size: 8 students Join us for a 3 day camp of fun, new friendships, and education with textiles! Instructors Amanda Shaffer and Jocelyn Dimaya share their love of textiles by teaching basic hand sewing, machine sewing and how to create fun and creative projects to take home and cherish for a lifetime.  Covid-19 saftey precaution: Both instructors are vaccinated. Both instructors and students are required to wear masks during class. Class includes:-Use of sewing machines, tools, fabric, and other materials -Water and snacks, though we encourage students to bring their own reusable water bottles. -Take home multiple projects that are created in class  In this class students will learn to hand and machine sew. We will be focusing on creating gifts for the holidays. Week example: Day 1: Hand Sewing Techniques Learn to Cut Patterns Hand sewing project Day 2: How to Use a Sewing Machine and begin projects Day 3: Complete projects The Studio is a creative space ran out of MESH cowork in downtown Bakersfield. The Studio offers both sewing and creative workshop for all ages. Instructors Amanda Shaffer and Jocelyn Dimaya teach both private and group sewing classes. The Studio brings in different makers to teach workshops every month such as woodworking, painting, calligraphy, and so much more.
