Celebrate the holidays with us at Camron-Stanford House Our annual Holiday Open House is back for 2021! Enjoy complimentary admission to Camron-Stanford House, and sip on complimentary hot coco on our veranda (weather permitting). Mark your calendars, and get ready to celebrate the holidays with us! Explore our new holiday exhibit, "A Very Victorian Christmas," wander our rooms decorated with plenty of holiday cheer, enjoy a fun holiday craft, or simply enjoy a warm beverage on the veranda as you take in the views of Lake Merritt. All are welcome, and admission is free! Open 4:00pm-7:00pm. --- COVID-19 SAFETY: Masks are required while inside Camron-Stanford House, regardless of vaccination status, no exceptions. Please stay home if you are feeling unwell! --- Registration is not required, though you are welcome to RSVP in advance if you wish! All entry is first come first served. The Camron-Stanford House is the last of the beautiful 19th century mansions that once surrounded Lake Merritt and was the home to five influential families before becoming the first museum in the City of Oakland. The restored home helps visitors time travel to the 1880s and enter meticulously recreated living spaces. In addition, the house presents various exhibits throughout the year that focus on aspects of Victorian life and culture.
