Adopt an elderly dog

I need help with a 12 year old terrier mixed 10 pound dog I’ve had him for 11 years I’ve recently become homeless and my dog was recently diagnosed with diabetes he’s slowly losing his eyesight he requires more visits to the veterinarian I cannot afford any longer we did have blood work done on him eight months ago and he was cancer free and other than the diabetes he is healthy, We became homeless approximately eight months ago and took to living in my truck he’s been living in the truck with me and its hard for me to care for him now that I no longer have a home to provide for him the ability to care for him financially, he’s my friend and I love him more than life itself and it hurts me to do this but somebody that be willing to help take care of him, take him to the vet and continue to give his shots he still has life left in him. I’m doing him no service by keeping him in this vehicle with me day and night not able to provide a good home for him any longer, as I mentioned I’ve had him for 11 years he’s a special little guy, his name is buddy he’s extremely smart, super sweet and just a great loving animal, and I’m hoping someone locally is willing to take him and provide a home for him to sleep, rest and continue to have hopefully another couple years left of life, appreciate anyone that is a animal lover and understands my situation. thank you.
