Description

This class will give the new or prospective gun owner the knowledge to handle and store firearms safely. In this class students will learn the Four Fundamental Firearms Safety rules and how they are applied both on and off the range. We will discuss the various parts and controls of handguns, rifles, and shotguns. We will explain what actually happens inside a firearm during the shot process. We will discuss basic ammunition construction and terminology. Finally, different options for safe storage of firearms will be discussed. Students will leave feeling more confident in their understanding of firearms and how to handle one safely.
