TAUNTON, MA — It's a bird, it's a plane, it's a...horse?
Massachusetts State Police and the Massachusetts Department of Transportation have both confirmed that a horse briefly galloped along Route 140 in Taunton Tuesday morning before they were able to return it to its owner.
Driver video footage shows a full-sized horse, later identified as "Max," running in the right lane of the road just after 11:30 a.m. as cars slow down and pass it. The Department of Transportation said that traffic was not impacted.
