looking for strong worker must have clean drivers license, i am a contractor that does Tile and custom shower enclosures so heavy lifting is needed. here is a list of what you will be required to do. pay is based on experience and this stuff is easy to learn. 1. drive to locations and learn methods of measuring projects with a laser. 2. pick up and deliver materials including tempered shower glass doors and panels. 3. assist with glass installation including A. Bringing in tools and glass B. Prepare work area with tarps and or moving blankets so things are protected and makes clean up easy. C. possibly drill holes in tile walls and on shower curb for glass clamps and hinges under supervision. D. learn how to perfectly tape off the glass and tile to prepare for caulking. E learn methods for caulking like a pro, sometimes we need to loosen everything up and move the glass so we can get the caulk in right as sometimes the glass will be to close to a wall or curb and the caulk needs to completly fill the void so we move the glass, put the caulking in then move the glass closer to the wall while the caulk is still workable, a minute or two, then we retighten the clamps and do caulk clean up. this is all done precisely and theres a dozen small steps that need to be learned so attention and focus will be a great benefit. we use lasers which help in the marking of the walls and other areas where well install the mounting clamps, this insures accuracy and makes the whole job go quickly and with minimal adjustments because adjustments are a big part of glass installation use of a laser to obtain fine accuracy and your ability to do it will be critical, and it is easy to learn but will take a little practice. if you make this all work the ret will be simple, after just a month or two you can be making $200-400 a day you can install a simple door which takes me 1 1/2 hours in 1.5-2.5 hours max and get$200-300 depending on several factors. first things first. youll need to learn how to measure a simple shower door opening with dead on precision. i have a tile company also so if you have any experience in this area please make an effort to have loads of work but never could do both shower glass and tile at the same time so I'M just doing glass for a while but i get calls for tile weekly so if you have skills you have an opertunity to make money using your skills. i did tile for over 35 years so i know the trade very good and we always deliver a high quality installation. give me a call and see where it goes.
