Press release from the Delaware Technical Community College: November 23, 2021 The return of women's basketball to Delaware Technical Community College also brings a brand new coaching staff. This year, Megan Fox took the reins of the program as head coach. She is joined by Tiarra White and Brittany Ford as assistant coaches. Fox previously was head coach of Seaford High School girls' basketball from 2016-2019. She joined Delaware Tech in 2020, but that season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Fox also served as assistant coach of Wesley College women's basketball in 2015. She played collegiate basketball for two years at Wilmington University, before transferring to Arcadia University where she played for one season. Fox has a master's degree in special education from Wilmington University, and a bachelor's degree in psychology from Arcadia University. She currently works as a special education math teacher at Kipp Lanning Square Middle School in New Jersey. "I pursued this job as Delaware Tech's women's basketball head coach because my entire coaching career has taken place in Delaware," Fox said. "A professional goal for me was to move up and become a college head coach. "Delaware has provided me with the opportunity to network and make connections with many coaches and players. I knew that I could recruit in Delaware because I know the area. The opportunity seemed to be the right one for me." White is in her first coaching stint. She is a native of Philadelphia and a graduate of Padua Academy, where she played girls' basketball for three years. White also played collegiately at Wesley College for three years. Ford, a Wilmington native, is a graduate of Concord High School. She played basketball at St. Joe's University for four years, before serving as assistant coach at Lincoln University and Philly Triple Threat (AAU boys' team), and as head coach for BBA Delaware (AAU girls' team).
