Press release from the City of Long Beach: November 29, 2021 It's official! The Christmas Tree has been delivered to Kennedy Plaza, courtesy of Skudin Surf! Please join City Officials as we celebrate the season at the Annual Kennedy Plaza Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony on Friday, December 3, 2021. The tree lighting ceremony will take place beginning at 5:00pm on the bandwagon in front of City Hall. The Long Beach High School Jazz Ensemble will play holiday favorites. We will announce the resident chosen to light this years tree from "Nominate Someone Great". There will even be a visit from Santa with assistance from the Long Beach Fire Department. He may even stick around to meet with good boys and girls. We hope you will join us at this wonderful city tradition. This press release was produced by the City of Long Beach.
