The race also highlights a charity each year, and the 2021 charity is A Need We Feed, which has been helping to provide food to those who are food insecure in Ocean County since Superstorm Sandy struck in 2012. The organization is providing nearly 800 meals a week to those in need.
Registration is online only for the race for 2021. Register at www.jinglebellsrun.com.
The race is held on a relatively flat course through downtown Toms River and its neighborhoods. It starts with a Kiddie Dash at 2:45 p.m., followed by a 1-mile fun run at 3 p.m. The 5K begins at 3:30 p.m.
Check-in before the race is at Mancini Hall at the Ocean County Library. There is a post-race pasta party as well.
