BEL AIR, MD — The town of Bel Air is offering free parking for people this holiday season. Starting the day after Thanksgiving, parking meters downtown are free through Jan. 2, 2022. Parking is normally free in town after 5 p.m. and on weekends. This year the town is offering free parking for a longer period than in years past. In 2020, free parking was only free from Dec. 12 to Jan. 2. To promote shopping and dining local, the Bel Air Board of Town Commissioners authorized the waiving of parking meter fees during the holidays from Thanksgiving until the day after the New Year.
