PARAMUS, NJ — Bergen County officials handed out over 1,200 Christmas trees to frontline workers in Paramus on Saturday. This was the second year the county, along with Bergen New Bridge Medical Center and DT Allen Contracting, hosted the giveaway for frontline workers like EMTs, healthcare professionals, law enforcement and firefighters. The event, which took place at Bergen New Bridge, was so well attended on Saturday that all trees were donated, and the second day of the distribution was canceled. "We thank all frontline workers for their determination and continued resolve through these trying times," said Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco.
