73-Year-Old Man Killed In Head-On Crash Near Temecula Identified

AGUANGA, CA — A 73-year-old man killed November 23 in a head-on crash near Temecula has been identified by the Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner's Bureau. David Land of Anza was pronounced dead in the wreckage on Highway 79 south, about a half-mile east of Sage Road near Aguanga, around 5:50 a.m., according to the coroner's bureau. One other person had to be airlifted to a hospital for treatment of moderate injuries, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department. The crash cause remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
