AUSTIN, TX — A southwest Austin family of four has been displaced Tuesday morning after a fire consumed the attic of their home, fire officials said. Austin fire was called to the structure fire around 2:47 a.m. at 4701 Red Stone Court, the fire department said in a tweet. When crews arrived, they quickly extinguished the flames. Firefighters shared this thermal image on Twitter to show there was still residual heat. Therefore, officials remained on scene to continue to overhaul and remove the smoke until it was clear. Two adults and two children were displaced following the incident. None were injured, authorities said. The Central Texas Red Cross said it would assist the family of four now that they've been displaced.
