Bill Lee, Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bob Rolfe, and Gutterglove, Inc. officials announced today that Gutterglove will relocate its headquarters from Roseville, California to Franklin. Gutterglove, a manufacturer of professional-grade stainless steel gutter guards, will invest $720,800 and create 20 new jobs in Williamson County. (Williamson Source)A Williamson County K-9 is being credited for helping find a domestic violence suspect who damaged a Fairview police car while escaping. It happened late Saturday night. That's where officers respond to a domestic call involving 35-year-old Terrance Kilpatrick of Jackson, Tenn. (WKRN News 2)There's no longer a mask mandate in the Franklin Special School District. On Monday evening, the school board members unanimously voted to get rid of it and the new requirement is effective immediately. School board members said a low number of positive cases and vaccine availability made this possible.
