Yes, there are stressors around purchasing presents, visiting with some family members, and dealing with traffic on Green River Road and Burkhardt (I will go out of my way to not drive on either of those roads!). Despite the stress, however, there are many moments of generosity and caring during December that are special. EVPL celebrates all of the magic of holidays during the month through displays, programs, and booklist. Hanukkah Craft Kit Celebrate Hanukkah with a craft kit! November 29 – December 4 All Day EVPL North Park Seasonal Snapshots The holiday season is a great time to spend time with loved ones, and there is no way to better capture those memories than with pictures! We are excited to offer Seasonal Snapshots – a new EVPL photography tradition – to our community. Sign-up for one of our 15-minute photography sessions to have special snapshots taken of you and your loved ones on our festive set. Each session is complete with 3-5 digital photograph files – perfect for holiday cards or your own personal collection. And just like all EVPL programs, an EVPL card is encouraged but not required. Plus, this is completely free! Saturday, December 4 9:00 am – 1:00 pm EVPL Central Stories with Santa Santa will be reading and singing with us before heading to the North Pole. There will also be crafts, Santa letters, and treats. Thursdays, December 9 4:00 – 5:00 pm EVPL Red Bank Foraging For Your Home: Winter Solstice Lantern We will be celebrating the winter solstice by making our very own lanterns using wax paper and fallen leaves! Registration required. Thursday, December 16 3:30 – 4:30 pm EVPL McCollough Holiday Concert with Monte Skelton Monte will host a concert during EVPL East's Open House.
