Press release from the City of Wheaton: November 29, 2021 At approximately 6:45 a.m. Nov. 25, 2021, Wheaton Police Officers responded to the 600 Block N. Stoddard Ave. for the report of an unknown individual inside the residence at that location. The 22-year-old female victim related she awoke from sleep and observed an unknown male suspect inside her residence.  Upon confronting the subject, the unknown male suspect fled the residence and proceeded westbound from the scene. A K-9 was requested, but the suspect was not located. The victim was not physically harmed by the intruder, and nothing was taken from the residence.  Suspect: Unknown male, wearing gray sweatpants and a dark hoodie with the hood up The Wheaton Police Department is actively investigating this incident and encourages anyone with information to contact Lieutenant Ryan Conway at [email protected], or at 630-260-2079.
