I am looking for tennis players who are willing to let me record them play anytime, anywhere nearby for a research project. Just call me next time you are planning to play with someone and I can hopefully swing by and record! FAQs: Q: Do I have to play with you? A: No!! In fact, playing with your favorite partner is great. Q: Do I have to do anything special while you record? A: I just ask that you try not to goof around so that I can record valuable footage. Playing a game or just rallying is perfect for me. Even drilling with a coach works great for me. Q: Do I have to be a specific skill level? A: Anyone who has hit the ball before works for me. Q: Can you record me playing doubles? A: No, sorry, whoever is being recorded must be the only player on that side of the court. Please pick a time when you'll be the only player on your side. Q: What is this for? A: I'm working on a research project that seeks to uncover the differences in tennis player biomechanics. I need to gather video recordings of a wide range of tennis players using a stereoscopic camera system (AKA a 2-camera synchronized system). Q: Can I record myself and send you the footage? A: If you're willing to learn how to use my stereoscopic camera system, then sure. Otherwise, I'll have to be there to record. Make a note of my number. When you're planning to play, shoot me a text or call me with your location and the time you plan to play, and I will see if I can be there. We can also plan ahead and coordinate a time if you'd like.
