Description
OSWEGO, IL — Oswego's downtown Christmas Walk tradition is just days away. After running on an alternate schedule due to the pandemic last year, the event returns to Main Street starting at 4:30 p.m. Friday.
Because of the increased activity downtown, Oswego police said drivers should expect increased traffic congestion and delays, specifically on Route 34, between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. Madison and Washington streets will likely also see delays, police said in an alert.
Attendees can see ice sculpting, visit Santa and watch local groups will perform — a full schedule of who's going when can be found online. The night will end with emergency vehicles driving down Main Street as part of the popular Silent Light Parade.

Attendees will be able to park in the Downtown Parking Deck under The Reserve at Hudson Crossing, in the Harrison Street lot, at Oswego Village Hall, and on streets in and around downtown, police said.
