Do you know what to do in the event of an accidental shooting? Can you render aid to others in an active shooter situation? Learn how! Do you know what to do in the event of an accidental shooting? Can you render aid to others in an active shooter situation? Do you have the medical skill set and the equipment needed if you are injured in a self-defense situation? Whether you or someone else is shot, stabbed, or otherwise critically wounded, if your life is on the line, and you only have seconds to act, can you? It could be an accident at home, on the range, an active shooter, a car accident, or a self-defense situation. You need to have a plan, and the necessary skills and equipment to execute that plan. This class will prepare you for these unexpected events. This course covers the following topics: Understanding the Human Body Shock and Treatment Wound Management Bleeding Control Fractures Treating Yourself and Others Personal Medical Equipment Legal Obligations/Ramifications Students will need to bring a writing utensil and notepad, snacks, and beverages. Lunch will be provided. Max 18 students.
