LOS ANGELES, CA — An Air Canada jet plane blew two tires upon landing at Los Angeles International Airport Monday after its left landing gear failed. The pilots landed the plane believing they were leaking fuel and came to a rest on Runway 24.,KCAL9 reported. The incident occurred at about 8:15 p.m. Monday, and 73 passengers were along for the jarring landing. No injuries were reported. The passengers had to be bussed off the runway. The plane had to be towed off, but airport officials were waiting until all passengers were off the plane to tow it off the runway. Officials did not immediately confirm if the plane was leaking fuel. No other runways or flights were affected by the stalled plane. City News Service contributed to this report.
