Woodbury-based East Metro Symphony Orchestra (EMSO), in collaboration with Applause Community Theatre (ACT), is pleased to present Uh-Oh, Here Comes Christmas!, a musical concert featuring excerpts from the play by David Caldwell and Ernest Zulia. The performance will be held Sunday, December 5, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 2499 Helen Street North, North St. Paul, MN. Admission to this concert is free. Donations in support of the orchestra's work in the community are always appreciated. This is the second time EMSO and ACT have partnered to present a collaborative program featuring both music and storytelling. Based on the book by Robert Fulghum, Uh-Oh, Here Comes Christmas! is a series of vignettes about the joys and turmoil of the holiday season. This special performance will feature EMSO presenting a collection of favorite holiday carols, led by EMSO's music director and conductor Craig Hara, alongside ACT performing excerpts from the play, directed by Gary Davis. St. Mark's Lutheran Church currently limits audience size to 200. Please visit EMSO's websiteat www.emsorch.org to reserve seats. Reserved seats are recommended but not necessary. Remaining available seats will be filled on a first come, first serve basis on concert day. All audience members are required to wear masks and it is recommended that non-familiar groups keep 6 feet apart while inside the building.
