ELMHURST, IL — In recent days, Elmhurst police responded to domestic disturbances, a sleeping bar patron, a violation of an order of protection, a fugitive driver, disorderly conduct and driving violations. Here is information from Elmhurst police reports: Domestic disturbances Police responded to a domestic disturbance about 3:30 p.m. Friday at Butterfield Road and York Street. A man said a person struck him in the face. The other person denied the allegation and said the argument was only verbal. The parties agreed to separate and avoid contact. Police responded to a domestic disturbance at 3:30 a.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of South Euclid Avenue. The victim said the suspect battered her a number of times before leaving the apartment. An officer tried to find the suspect, but was unsuccessful. The case is pending an investigation. Sleeping customer Doc's Victory Pub, 490 S. Spring Road, called police about a customer who fell asleep while sitting at the bar. An officer tried to wake the customer, but the man immediately fell asleep and was unable to answer questions. The man was taken to Elmhurst Hospital. Violating order of protection Jorge Celedon-Olivares, 31, of Elmhurst, was arrested about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday on a charge of violating an order of protection. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. According to a police report, Celedon-Olivares was taken into custody when officers responded to a domestic disturbance at Extended Stay America, 550 W. Grand Ave. Fugitive driver An officer tried to stop a driver for disobeying a traffic control device about 1:30 a.m. Monday at Interstate 290 and North. The officer discovered the license plate on the car had been reported stolen. The driver sped away, last seen traveling east on I-290. Criminal trespass to vehicle Antonio Lloyd, 38, of Evergreen Park, was arrested about 2 a.m. Monday at North End and York on a warrant and on charges of criminal trespass to a motor vehicle, driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper use of registration. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. According to a police report, officers learned that Lloyd's vehicle was stolen in Gary, Indiana. Disorderly conduct Daryl Brown, 48, of Wheaton, was cited about 5 p.m. Sunday in the 100 block of North Robert Palmer on a charge of disorderly conduct (public intoxication). He was released on bond. Driving violations Luis Montijo Rodriguez, 36, of Chicago, was cited about 4:30 a.m. Wednesday at York and Grand on charges of no valid driver's license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and expired registration. He was released on bond.Deon Johnson, 26, of Chicago, was cited about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at York and Grand on charges of driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle and speeding. He was released on bond. Edgar Ramos Lopez, 25, of Bensenville, was cited Friday in the 100 block of North York on charges of no valid driver's license and driving the wrong way on a one-way street. He was released on bond. William Hughes, 43, of Chicago, was cited about 6:30 p.m. Friday at Roosevelt and Euclid on charges of no valid driver's license, reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident. He was released on bond. According to a police report, Williams ran away after an accident involving four cars. Monyetta Kelly, 30, of Lansing, was cited about 11 p.m. Friday at Route 83 and North on charges of driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured vehicle, unlawful possession of marijuana, expired registration and no seat belt. She was released on bond. Warrants Michael Mackessy, 23, of Merrillville, Indiana, was arrested about 10:30 a.m. Saturday on Cook County Sheriff's Office and DuPage County Sheriff's Office warrants. He was released on bond. Richard Buckner, 36, of Chicago, was arrested about 8 p.m. Saturday on a DuPage County Sheriff's Office warrant. He was released on bond.
