Our nursery, Nature's Best Nursery, is located in the Nolensville, TN area. We are one of the largest producers of annual and perennial flowers in middle Tennessee. We also grow trees, shrubs, herbs, vegetables, ground covers, grasses, and more.
Horticultural experience is ideal; however, if you do not have the experience, we will bring you in on the ground floor and train you.
The main qualifications for this job are: understanding and implementation of an array of propagation techniques, transplanting and potting of diverse sizes and species, maintaining knowledge of varied watering requirements, and having the ability to identify plant health issues and utilizing best practices to resolve them.
Nursery employees must have or gain a basic understanding of greenhouse operations, have a strong work ethic, and consistently exhibit the ability to work well with others and provide our customers with exceptional products and services.
The job will require some weekend hours and overtime during the planting seasons. The physical requirements include long periods of standing, bending, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), and the ability to work in varying outdoor weather conditions. A valid drivers license and the ability to pass a criminal background check is required.
