SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — The first round of Ohio Vax-2-School scholarship winners were announced Monday and included a Shaker Heights student.
Andrea Ligon was one of 30 students to claim a $10,000 scholarship through the lottery program. The program was open to any student, ages 5 to 25, who received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine prior to the drawing.
Additional drawings will be held throughout this week, with additional $10,000 scholarship winners being announced each day. A grand prize winner will be selected on Friday and announced at 7:29 p.m. during the Ohio Lottery broadcast.
