Tuscaloosa Academy Sending Six To AISA All-Star Game

TUSCALOOSA, AL — After finishing runner-up for a Class AAA AISA state championship during its last year before moving to the public school ranks, Tuscaloosa Academy football will send six seniors and its coach to compete this Saturday at Cramton Bowl in Montgomery for the AISA All-Star Game. Click here to subscribe to our free Tuscaloosa Daily newsletter and breaking news alert Coach Josh Wright, fresh off his first year leading the Knights' football program, will also be a coach for the AISA West squad. The Knights finished the season undefeated in region play on its way to a 7-5 overall record. In addition to the football players and coach representing Tuscaloosa Academy in the all-star showcase, TA will also send senior cheerleader Lily Abernathy, who will perform as an AISA All-Star Cheerleader.
