I am 38 years old living on the 3rd floor, 2 failed back surgeries in the past year and now am on a waiting list behind 105 others for a fusion. None of our hospitals are scheduling surgeries due to lack of ICU beds, COVID, and serious staffing issues. This has fully disabled me to a broken down recliner. I am no longer able to lay in a normal bed and do not get much sleep due to all these complications. I just spent several months in assisted living unable to walk being the 2nd surgery had paralyzed part of my leg. Though I am able to walk a little again, I am risking further damage and possible paralysis that may not be able to heal. There's no saying when our hospitals will start to schedule again. I am asking for anyone that has an adjustable hospital bed that's not needed and in your way, to please consider donation. A small fee and pickup could be arranged.
