Job Description: Yard Employee Summary: Employees working in the yard are responsible to maintain an environment that is safe, social and fun for the dogs. Supervision of dogs includes vigilance, intervention, cleaning up after the dogs, documentation of activities and communication with other employees and owners. Job Duties: 1. Continuous supervision of the dogs in the yard and the ability to stand/stroll for long periods in between breaks, 2. Maintain a safe environment for the dogs in the yard, 3. Maintain a clean environment at all times by picking up feces and cleaning up the yard as needed, 4. Observe the dogs and intervene if unsafe or escalating behaviors are identified, 5. Ensure that an adequate amount of clean, fresh water is available at all times, 6. Review, provide feedback and implement procedures developed and in place for the supervision of the dogs and the maintenance of the yard, 7. Communicate to Front Desk on specific such as behavior of individual dogs, 8. Provide documentation of activities on individual report cards daily, 9. Participate in other camp tasks as required such as feeding, cleaning the kennels and dog areas, leashing and escorting dogs that are going to the groomers or leaving for the day Job Requirements: 1. A love for dogs and their well-being, 2. Timeliness and your own transportation, 3. Ability to run and stand for hours at a time, 4. Positive attitude and team working skills.
